Reshma Ramyead

Reshma has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the financial services industry in Mauritius and began her career in 2004 at a leading international intermediary brokerage where she was looking after the firm’s top sales consultants. In 2009, she joined a local Management Company where she was responsible for the administration of Offshore Companies, Trusts and Wealth Management.

She joined Sovereign Mauritius in 2015 as Administration Manager and was promoted to Operations Director in 2017. Her role is to ensure that Sovereign Mauritius has the best possible working environment and processes so that everything runs efficiently. She also shares responsibility with the other Directors for overseeing that staff are fully aware of the regulatory and legal requirements impacting on operations both locally and internationally. She is an Affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner (STEP), FAIQ qualified and has a Diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Mauritius. She is also a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIOD) and is an Approved Officer with the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius.
