Jade Smith

Having relocated from Manchester to Gibraltar in 2014, Jade previously worked in finance and audit before finding her passion for data protection.

Jade worked for the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority for almost 5 years where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in advising on data protection matters. She engaged locally with a range of businesses, schools, charities and public authorities to promote and support compliance with data protection legislation. Additionally, in international engagement Jade has been a speaker at a conference hosted by the European Data Protection Supervisor in Brussels on Data Protection Impact Assessments and Prior Consultation.

Jade has continued her studies since joining Sovereign and is currently working towards becoming a Fellow of International Privacy.
