Ratnah Tanakoor

After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Management, Ratnah joined the banking field with a mid-managerial role in the private banking and wealth division of one of the most reputable banks in Mauritius. During her tenure there, she had the opportunity of dealing with the South African market and acquiring a certification in soft leadership from Duke University. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration with specilisation in Finance. During her decade-long banking career, she had considerable exposure to high net worth professionals, managing their asset portfolio in investment and security.

Ratnah joined Sovereign in 2022 and as a Business Development Manager has been instrumental in assisting offshore clients with their corporate structuring, wealth management and financial planning. She also provides invaluable assistance to clients seeking to acquire a residency permit and citizenship across jurisdictions. Bilingual in English and French, and currently learning Portuguese and Spanish, Ratnah excels in identifying business opportunities and expanding market reach. Her bilingual capabilities assist her to drive sales in the Mauritius office. As her next move, she intends to pursue her certification in trust and estate planning
